The patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia says he will announce to the world Friday the unveiling of the Ark of the Covenant, perhaps the world's most prized archaeological and spiritual artifact, which he says has been hidden away in a church in his country for millennia, according to the Italian news agency Adnkronos.

Abuna Pauolos, in Italy for a meeting with Pope Benedict XVI this week, told the news agency, "Soon the world will be able to admire the Ark of the Covenant described in the Bible as the container of the tablets of the law that God delivered to Moses and the center of searches and studies for centuries.

Yes the same woman that the Spirit of Christ had in mind in Genesis three, as the new creation.

The woman in that parable (Revealtion 12) is the bride/wife of Christ (made up of saints from the New as well as the Old Testament) robbed in the righteousness of Christ, as the proper wedding attire needed (clothed with the sun ), described as the city of Christ coming down as the one bride of Christ, in Revelations 21, as the whole body of Christ.

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Is Mary the whole body of Christ, or is she one of the many, many livings stones that make up the Mother of us all ,as described in Galatians?

Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

When looking at our new birth, is salvation after the flesh of Christ or the Spirit that forms Christ in us… can we serve two masters, two authorities?

Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

No Garee, Mary is not the whole body of Christ but she is the Mother of us all (spiritual mother), and for you to claim that she is only a sister in Christ is foolish.

John 19:26-27

That's interesting so you believe this woman could really resist the the temperature of the Sun and could have the moon in subjection to her authority?

She was used as mother to form Christ in others....... through the spiritual words of Christ ,while she was on this earth, just like Paul ....one of the many, many other living stones that make up the whole body of Christ, but that authority is no longer possible unless you are trusting in necromancy as a authorised authority?

In the end of the matter, whoesever does the will of God, is our sister Mother and brother, as long as they have the breath ,living under the Sun, to do the wil of God, as it is written.

The Ark of the Covenant was most likely destroyed in the great fire of Jerusalem at the destruction of the Second Temple.

I'd read a few years ago that the Ark of the Covenant was being kept by a church in Northern Africa. It was in a mail solicitation for Commonweal Magazine, so they didn't provide the whole article, but said it had been one of the Commonweal Articles. (I think that was the magazine, I've gotten solicitations from several Catholic magazines - it could have been the National Catholic Reporter). That surprised me, but not enough to subscribe to the magazine.

So this is very interesting.

What you are speaking of
is a persistant rumour that the original ark of God was actually made a physical object,
and a second rumour, that it is now hidden in a small Church somewhere in Ethiopia.
