That you are not sure, shows you are dead in trespasses and have no clue as to the Gospel, Tony.  There is no way in the name of Heaven that either Paul or Peter would install themselves as caretakers of idols cum "art".
I'm not sure because you can look at the statue in two ways, either an idol or an art work. I think that you are trying to mix the two concepts together.

How is that the same as those idolaters who slew the martyrs because they wouldn't worship their gods, Tony?
I thought that we were talking about idols. I brought up money because many make an idol out of it and use others, out of religious motives, to make money for themselves.

As I said, if you don't know that neither Paul nor Peter would ever do such a thing, then you are dead in trespasses.

I thought we were talking about those who worshiped pagan gods and made statues to represent those gods, and then slew the martyrs who refused to bow either to those gods or their statues--the same statues of which your church is the caretaker.  Do the money grubbing preachers slay those who refuse to give them money, Tony?  Not the same.
