Maybe ryld believes no one asked the Apopstles to describe what Jesus looked
like.  
Since we are commanded, and not just a good suggestion as a philisophical starting point, that we are to know no man after the flesh for evermore, to include the flesh of Christ, what difference would it make if we did know what Christ looked like, would glorying in the flesh of Christ, prophit something?
