Thank you, LN.
She just keeps asking stupid questions, so what goes around comes around!
They have nothing to do with the topic!
Is this your excuse
to not do righteousness, but to do like they do?

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?
do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others?
do not even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect,
even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:46-48

Love them as Jesus loves
`Paul

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,
that his deeds may be made manifest,
that they are wrought in God.
John 3:21

Thank you, Had2.

If we believe on any other word, apart from God's word alone,we will be deceived.
Garanteed

I agree
But in deed you don't,
for you said one needs more than the word.

Examples of Jesus' and the Apostles' Reliance on Oral Tradition
Matt. 2:23 - the prophecy "He shall be a Nazarene" is oral tradition. It is not found in the Old Testament. This demonstrates that the apostles relied upon oral tradition and taught by oral tradition.
But He said unto me,
Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son;
and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing:
for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.
Judges 13:7

Her Nazarites were purer than snow,
they were whiter than milk,
they were more ruddy in body than rubies,
their polishing was of sapphire:
Lamentations 4:7

And there's lots more about the Nazarenes in the Old Testament.

Matt 23:2 - Jesus relies on the oral tradition of acknowledging Moses' seat of authority (which passed from Moses to Joshua to the Sanhedrin). This is not recorded in the Old Testament.
??
The first five books are the books of Moses,
and they are the books of the law of God.

And God's law is the utmost authority in the Universe,
isn't it?
But it appears that
you don't even wonder why you don't sing the song of Moses.

Remember ye the law of Moses My servant,
which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel,
with the statutes and judgments.
Malachi 4:4

John 19:26; 20:2; 21:20,24 - knowing that the "beloved disciple" is John is inferred from Scripture, but is also largely oral tradition.
It is written, Had2.
And so this is one oral tradition that can be verified as being true.

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following;
which also leaned on His breast at supper,
and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth Thee?
John 21:20

Acts 20:35 - Paul relies on the oral tradition of the apostles for this statement ("it is better to give than to receive") of Jesus. It is not recorded in the Gospels.
Jesus commanded it,
and it is written.

Thou shalt not wrest judgment;
thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift
for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise,
and pervert the words of the righteous.
Deuteronomy 16:19

Give to him that asketh thee,
and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
Matthew 42

Combine the above two commandments from Jesus,
and St Paul's saying is confirmed to be a written tradition,
and teaching of God's word and law.

Teaching that one should keep oral traditions
is not teaching God's word and law,
as He commanded.

1 Cor. 7:10 - Paul relies on the oral tradition of the apostles to give the charge of Jesus that a wife should not separate from her husband.
Again, a written commandment.

He saith unto them,
Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives:
but from the beginning it was not so.
Matthew 19:8

1 Cor. 10:4 - Paul relies on the oral tradition of the rock following Moses. It is not recorded in the Old Testament. See Exodus 17:1-17 and Num. 20:2-13.
See verses that don't speak of the Rock,
for proof that the Rock St Paul spoke of
is not written about in the Old Testament?

Try Deut 32.

He is the Rock, His work is perfect:
for all His ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is He.
Deuteronomy 32:4

Of the Rock that begat thee
thou art unmindful,
and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
Deuteronomy 32:18

See also 1 Peter 2,
for confirmation that your Church disallows you to come to Him.

To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men,
but chosen of God, and precious.
1 Peter 2:4

Eph 5:14 - Paul relies on oral tradition to quote an early Christian hymn - "awake O sleeper rise from the dead and Christ shall give you light."
This is the purpose of oral traditions,
that you wake not.

But there is much about this in the written tradition.

So man lieth down, and riseth not:
till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake,
nor be raised out of their sleep.
Job 14:12

But if you will wake yourself,
and when Jesus is come to you,
then He shall teach you how to do the commandments of the law.

For the commandment is a lamp;
and the law is light;
and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.
Proverbs

To the law
and to the testimony:
if they speak not according to this word,
it is because there is no light in them.
Isaiah 8:20

Heb. 11:37 - the author of Hebrews relies on the oral tradition of the martyrs being sawed in two. This is not recorded in the Old Testament.
And how do you follow your oral tradition of martyrs being sawed into two halves?

If you spoke for the written tradition in your Church,
the men there would scourge you,
and if you still won't return to their oral traditions,
then they will ex-communicate you.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake.
Matthew 24:9

Jude 9 - Jude relies on the oral tradition of the Archangel Michael's dispute with satan over Moses' body. This is not found in the Old Testament.
And at that time shall Michael stand up,
the great prince which standeth for the children of Thy people:
and there shall be a time of trouble,
such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:
and at that time Thy people shall be delivered,
every one that shall be found written in the book.
Daniel 12:1

Jude 14-15 - Jude relies on the oral tradition of Enoch's prophecy which is not recorded in the Old Testament.
Before your Church got hold of the Torah,
the book of Enoch was in there.

And besides, this is a written tradition,
even if no longer in the Old Testament.

And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy all the ungodly:
And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
Book of Enoch 1:9

Also, it is in the Old Testament,
because it is also in Deuteronomy, but somewhat slightly different.

And he said,
The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them;
He shined forth from mount Paran, and He came with ten thousands of saints:
from His right hand went a fiery law for them.
Deuteronomy 33:2

What you have shown us here, Had2,
is that we keep the oral traditions men say to,
as you have done,
then we will no longer know what is in the written word of God.

And that, for you, that no longer matters,
for it is the oral tradition that matters to you now.

I still prefer to believe Jesus
and keep His written word.
And it's funny how I can find the root of all your oral traditions in the written word,
isn't it smiley: laugh
`Paul

He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:38

Verily, verily, I say unto you,
If a man keep My saying, he shall never see death.
John 8:51
