Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!Palsms 119:5

Yes, proper hermeneutics include the law of interpretation as below (2 Corinthians 4:18) as one of the many prescribed proper manners of hermeneutics..

According to the living, abiding word of God as the greater witness we are commanded to keep His precepts, as the proper hermeneutics, diligently, but rather you are commanded by your High Preist the Pope, to make them to no effect in order that you might keep the oral traditions of the apostate ECF's as the lesser witness of sinful men.

2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The problem seems to be you are not allowed to study by seeking authority of the author of Scripture. Your higher power,  the Magisterium calls studying to seek the approval of God, a private interpretation.  Because you must follow after their "private revelations" you therefore are not allowed to follow as we are taught of our Father in heaven, because you must first hallow by venerating the Pope, as your Holy Father on earth according to your upside down theology .

John 6:45
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Note... learned of the Father (in heaven not the usurper (the Pope) in Rome.

Matthew 23:9
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Note ...call no man your father (Pope)  upon the earth
