Bottom Line cheezit there is no such thing in Catholicism as the Law of the Early Church Fathers. Many of them lived years apart so how on earth could they create such a law?
No, the "bottom line" is that you lied when you said "We have what is called the Catechism and the Doctrine of Faith that's it that's all".   That is, unless you can show where all of the writings of the ECF's your church loves to quote can be found in either the Catechism or the Doctrine of Faith.  Whether the Catholic church has a "Law of the Early Church Fathers" or not is immaterial and since the complete writings of the ECF's can't be found in the two "official" documents of the Catholic church, (ie: the Catechism or the Doctrine of Faith), they should never be officially quoted again.
