Mary remained a virgin all her life. Mary never died. Mary co-redemptrix. Mary this. Mary that. If, as you say, the "official documents" of the Catholic church are the Catechism and the Doctrine of Faith and "that's it that's all", then how can you quote *any* writing of an ECF as if they held any weight unless those writings can be found in the "official documents"?

I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.Acts22:2-3The law of the fathers shows them under that kind of law looking to the official doctrines as letters written by the highly venerable ones. And the same pattern is seen during the fitfhteenth century reformation as official letters that came with a promise from their Holy Father, the Pope(the Highest venerated Preist).... to those who would bring back the Christians bound to also be delivered over to death by fire. Because those who work according to official documents would have less time to pay for their own sin in Purgatory. That law of the fathers worked making laws through the oral tradition of men like the indulgence ($$$) needed to get out of purgatory free, as a reward for their work, also .Official letters as documents is the nature of the law of the fathers.Which Christ rebuked on every occasion by His authority, as it is written in the law and the prophets(sola scriptura)The Christian's officail document according to one Father(in heaven)Acts 9 9 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:Note....And desired of him letters... "official documents" of the Catholic church, of the sacred kind.
