Why didn't you quote the rest of it, Paul? At least finish the sentence!"But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust." ~ 1 Timothy 1:8-11
Ask the Lord to write His Laws on your heart, Paul!"But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people." ~Jeremiah 31:33
Ask Jesus to remove your very evil, evil heart and replace it with a heart of flesh and a new spirit.
" A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."~ Ezekiel 36:26
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."~ 2 Corinthians 5:17

You obviously expect Catholics to simply kow-tow to YOUR understanding of the Scriptures???? Do you have any idea just how identical that statement is to how Catholics act? Let me demonstrate.Catholics offer us their understanding of the Scriptures as if all non-Catholics should simply accept what they say when they pick and choose what they will believe from the Bible! Catholics obviously expect non-Catholics to simply kow-tow to THEIR understanding of the Scriptures.Whether you can see it or admit it or not, that is EXACTLY how you appear.

Catholics are a lot more tolerant of heretics and schismatics today than the Early Church was! It's a good thing. Things like the inquisition and the crusades would be severely frowned on today.

Cheezit, the difference being is that Catholics don't hunt anybody down to bash their faith as is done to Catholics. I would hope you can see the difference.
Oh good grief. Cry me a flippin river. What in the world do you expect? Non Catholics don't need to "hunt Catholics down" to "bash their faith". The Catholic church is the worlds largest denomination and it has numerous doctrines that either can not be found in Scripture or are contrary to Scripture. Oh sure, Catholics are very adept at denying the facts or making elaborate excuses, but that doesn't change anything. As blatant as some of your UN-Scriptural beliefs are, you may as well put up a giant neon sign that says "COME ON IN AND FIND FAULT WITH OUR BELIEFS".
cheezit wrote -Non Catholics don't need to "hunt Catholics down" to "bash their faith". THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE?
Cheezit, you non-Catholics come here specifically to bash the faith of Catholics.
Catholics do not do that to anybody!
We do defend our faith, though, as you see very clearly right on this very board.
If you want to come here to bash our faith, then don't whine that we're always ready to give an answer for why we believe what we do.
Take it or leave it, but stop whining about it!
I actually posted it and something happened. I will try again if you are interested in looking at my opinion?
Sure post away garee... I always enjoy a good laugh.
Where is the first century reformation found in the Bible garee?
