Where is the first century reformation found in the Bible garee?

The living, abiding, eternal word of God has been the reforming agent from the beginning of time. “It’s” the reforming agent the gates of hell could never prevail against .

Remember Had2, as “it” teaches us we abide in Him alone, the restorer...... as the one who does reform by His Spirit in every reformation. Whether it is one person or an entire nation of people. We understand by faith the work is not too hard for Him that He would need to be served by human hands, to do the work of restoring/reforming called reformations.

The first century reformation was spoken of as something to come through the Old Testament prophets in various manners and ways.. It was not a surprise to the King of kings and Lord of lords.

To restore something is it to reform it in lieu of the original form, by restoring it to the original intent. Reformation by restoring was a common fact through history and not new to the fifteenth century reformation. The Holy Spirit spoke of the time of reformation in various ways to include the new name He has given to the body of Christ the wife, which He named in the book of Acts, as “Christian”.

Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

A name that denotes residents of the city of Christ, as the City spoken of in Revelations 21 identified as those prepared as His bride/wife.

Revelation 21:2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride “adorned” for her husband.

The city of righteousness (holy city) refers to a spiritual body spoken of as lively stones that do make up the spiritual house of God called the bride of Christ, or the church of course in regard to as a kingdom of priest, with every member a priest, as an ambassador for Christ as those reining with Christ on earth from a foreign land (heaven), the new reformed manner by which Christ would now evangelize the whole world.Top of FormBottom of Form

1 Peter 2:5Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

The members thereof consist of those who will not be found with any righteousness of themselves but a righteousness of Christ alone that exclusively comes by walking by faith, called the faithful City again in respect to His bride/wife the church,. This is the time period He promised He would restore by reforming, during the time of the reformation spoken of clearly in Hebrews 10, as the time of reformation..

Hebrews 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of "reformation".Wink

The signal or sign that the City of Christ (the new heavenly Jerusalem) would be finished was finished in its entire entirety when Christ proclaimed “it is finished”. This occurred when  he of His own volition gave up the Spirit, which returned to the Father of Spirits. This was finished in regard to the preparation needed to complete it.Christ spoke of that work in John14.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.John 14:1-3

At that time of the first century reformation to show He was restoring, by reforming it to the period of the Judges when there was no outward manifestation in regard to a King in regard to the outward flesh like the pagan nations of the world whom the Jews got jealous of and demanded an outward manifestation , but before that time period when men walked by faith as our invisible King of kings reigned from heaven by the reforming authority of His word through His prophets, again identified today as the reformed holy city (Chritians) of those who will not be found with any kind of righteousness of their own but those who do walk by the same spirit of faith acording as it is written.(sola scriptura).

Note...Again to restore is to reform called a reformation, and again the word city denotes His bride the church

Isaiah 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

The temporal temple worship in regard to veil and other ceremonial laws by which a high priest a type or shadow used to represent Christ as part of the ceremonial law entered once a year to symbolize as a shadow pointing to Christ finished work at Calvary. It was torn from the top to the bottom to show the reformation, as it is writen had begun .The graves of the Old Testament saint in whom the Spirit of Christ dwelt were opened and they entered the holy city called new Jerusalem, as the same city spoken of in Revelation 21 prepared as His bride/wife the church, filled with believers who will be found with no righteousness of them themselves, again also referred to as the faithful city as those who did walk by faith. This work of Christ as a part of the first century reformation signaled the beginning of restoring/reforming, it is shown in Mathew 27,as to what Midgie calls the proof text, the text that prove God has spoken from heaven.

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.Mathew 27:50-53
