There is, however, an inability to arrive at a broad-scale conclusion of the truth of a religious proposition.

Science can neither prove FAITH nor LOVE. One who personally experiences it needs NO Scientific proof.

It is exactly as St. Augustine said:

"Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe."

One who personally experiences the Love of Christ as a reward of their faith will go to their deaths for Him as multitudes of Blessed Martyrs have done.

God bless you

Science can correlate experiential truths such as love, faith/belief to certain areas of the brain and their neurological activities, so I do not understand what you mean by "prove." However, that was not the point of my post. The point was, as I've previously said to you, the utility of the belief supercedes scholarship regarding the beliefs. Because of that, believers defend their beliefs in a manner similar to the counsel for defense, not in a scientific manner. I understand your appeal to faith, without it, Christianity would be reduced to a lump of improbable propositions with no purpose. Please understand, I am not attacking your faith. I have no reason or desire to do so. Edit: If I am coming across as attacking of any individual's faith, then I am not communicating correctly, and apologize.
