Yes, Amen, Katz!!! The New Testament is the product of the Church which includes the writings of the earliest Spirit-filled Christians testifying to those things that Jesus said and did. The Old Testament was written by Jews who once again TESTIFIED of Jesus. The Book should lead us all to JESUS!!

Yes, the living voice of the book leads us to Jesus. Not the Jews according to their "law of the fathers"(efc's) beginning with Abraham,  or the Catholics according to the "law of fathers"(efc's)  whom they claim  begins with Peter. The spiritual house of God the church is made up of many lively stones which are built on one foundation ,our Father in heaven(not fathers on earth.

The rebuke Christ spoke to the Jews using Abraham as their foundation for robbing the glory of God, the same applies to the Catholics who use the name Peter in the same corrupt way.

Mat 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Note …… these stones …………Christians who walk by faith, as those who put no hope in the sacraments used in ceremonial laws which are simply shadows without substance, as a cloud with rain.(no gospel)

Christians of all denominations preach Christ, not themselves as those who compare themselves by themselves and not the scriptures as the final authority in matters of faith and morals...

Scripture has one author and effector who wrote a book of the His perfect loving law according to one tenor (write these words) and He who has begun a good work according to His faith in us promises us He will finish it.(OSAS)

Exo 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

His covenant is not built upon the fathers (efc’s) which is simply a way of usurping the authority of our one Father in heaven . While the apostate Jews looked to the fathers(efc’s) who followed after sacramental-ism, the Catholics have followed suit.  And by looking as the fathers its easy to see what their commentaries according to their fallible opinions are promoting, sacramental-ism also. Christians, whether Jew or Gentile walk by faith not after the temporal things used in ceremonial laws that go up in smoke and ashes, but after Christ alone.(the eternal God )
