And while the pope’s tactic of stressing Christ’s love and salvation message to the exclusion of certain moral doctrines is well-intended, I don’t believe it will work. The militant secularists aren’t interested in conciliation or compromise, but in the complete and utter destruction of Christianity. They take no prisoners.

Had, I agree with much of what Mr. Duke had to say but disagree with the conclusion he has drawn. Take a very close look at the woman caught in adultery in the Bible. Was it the law that turned her around? Or was it the Love of Jesus that turned her around? I understand why the Pope is trying to get our focus back on the Love of Jesus.

It's been my experience that people are aware of their sins that are destroying them but they are not aware there is ONE among us who loves us and is here to set those FREE who hate their own lives/sins. Jesus is here right now as Love, Mercy, and Forgiveness. Those who turn to Him in all sincerity will not be disappointed.

Jesus is still doing today as he did for the blind men, and let's face it, even many who call themselves Christians are blind today:

"And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.  And when He was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yea, Lord.  Then touched He their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you." ~ Matthew 9:27

Those who sincerely believe in Jesus and have faith He can help them won't be disappointed.

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." ~ Hebrews 11:6

God bless you
