Rich, don't you agree with Garee that you need NO MAN to teach you? If so, then why are you bringing these teachings of men here?

God bless you

Sorry Midgie, and no offence to you as a person, but you are taking what I have said.... (ye need not that any man teach you:) Which does came from the scriptures (1John2: 27) to begin with and not Garee, out of perspective. Because you are required according to the "law of the fathers" or the efc's (same thing).... which is the law, that makes the perfect law of our Spiritual Father in heaven to no effect. You to do the same with John 6:45 to take away the fial teaching authority of God our Father, as it is written.
No one said He has not set teachers in the church, or fathers. In both cases you simply remove God from the equation by usurping His authority of the scriptures, as the one and only infallible Teacher, as our one Spiritual Father.
One is our infallible Master /Teacher in heaven. The same one is our Spiritual Father. In that sense we need no man to teach us .His Holy Spirit does just fine as He gives us the faith from heaven(not Rome)...from faith to faith, to freely receive His grace(unmerited favor) for grace. And not not grace for works as the Catholics espouse.
Have you compared what the man in the video was espousing with the scriptures to see if it agrees with that of our heavenly Father? Or are you trusting we need men to teach us infallibly as did the apostate Jews who used Abraham as their founding father who also like the the catholics who used Peter as the r founding father. And therefore in the same way were trusting in men, called a law of the fathers, as if they were our Father in heaven?
I am quite sure Rich is not trusting that man as if he was a infallible Pope as the one and only HOLY SEE and he needed the Pope as the final authority in matters of faith and morals .If that was the case Rich would still be violating the commandments that instruct us there is no daysman between us, as an infallible umpire, to call the balls and strikes between God and man, no not one.
Once you get set free of bondage of that daysman theology you then might be able to see more clearly the pricks you must kick against in order to remain faithful to the "law of the fathers"...instead of as Christ said in Mathew 23.

Matthew 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
