I told him I didn't want to talk about my life with him. He didn't say a word, and I started spewing out my painful past and present experiences. He prayed over me and I could feel the power in his hands. And I felt something leave me.Hypnotism is part of the occult, and before I came back to Christ, I went to a hypnotherapy session sponsored by my employer to quit smoking. Thanks be to God that I am not suggestible. I walked out of the session, with a friend of mine & we had a smoke. Eventually I did quit, when I watched cigarettes kill my mom. But I digress. This priest is on the level, and I was aware of everything he said to me, and still remember it. He's quite far away (about a 90 minute drive), but my husband and I want to go there for Mass to thank him, and my husband really wants to assist him at the altar. We hope it'll be for New Year's day, the Feast of Mary, the Mother of God.
