I think the Jewish guy may be right, MN.

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."
~ 1 John 2:22 -23

There is only ONE thing I am 110% absolutely, positively sure of and that is that Jesus IS Lord. Trying to understand how all the rest fits together has been like putting a puzzle together. My faith in Jesus doesn't depend upon me being a theologian, but I'm a watchman on the wall who has had a great interest watching how it's all playing out.

Many years ago after reading Hal Lindsey's "Late Great Planet Earth," I was convinced that the Jews must have still been God's chosen people because so many things "appeared" to have happened so miraculously for them after much suffering. I invested a good deal of money into a project to help Israel and began then to pay much closer attention to what was going on in the Middle East. Jesus taught us to love one another as He loved us and to love our enemies, but I was seeing the IDF doing things that were downright demonic to me. Loading bomb heads with nails and shooting them off in the middle of the night to pierce through the walls of Palestinian homes killing them in their beds while sleeping????? No, no, no....this was NOT of God! Too many double standards for how Israel wanted to be treated in comparison to how they treated the Palestinians. Sheesh, imagine the Palestinians didn't just roll over and willingly give up their land to make room for the Jews? The nerve of them! The Zionists claimed God gave them the land but what was that to Palestinians living on the land? Were they just supposed to give up their land, olive trees, and all they possessed on the say-so of the Zionists and not fight against it?

I think the Jews as well as the Muslims "profess" to worship the God of Abraham but do they really? I don't think so. Not according to their behavior.

Like I said to Had2 recently, all we can do is just keep our eyes on Jesus and stay in the Ark with the Pope as he steers us through the storms. Every Pope of my lifetime have been very holy men of God who were filled with the Holy Spirit of God. Blessed are they who come in the Name of the Lord.

I could NEVER be an Atheist, MN, knowing what I now know, but I can understand why there are Atheists.

God bless you
