As he said, though, OFTEN people find physical healing in their encounter with Christ. I did!! And so didn't the Pope....many times during his life!
I had the fortunate priviledge of casting a devil out of a Catholic priest one day.

I was having a break from my work, and was praying outside my workplace,
and beholding the fowls of the air.
Suddenly, a priest appeared around the corner, in all his robes.
He was burdened with his load, and put it down to rest at the street corner, and to look around.
He looked lost, so I approached Him and asked where he was going.
I knew the place he seeked, and directed him the way.
He thanked me and picked up his bag to move on.
But it weighed him down, I could see, and his back was crook,
so again, I offered him a hand, to carry his bag to the hotel he was staying at.

Again, he was thankful, and as we walked we spoke,
and we spoke of the LORD.
He was pleased to meet me and to learn I was with the LORD,
and he exhorted me to partake of Eucharist in a church (of course),
but I explained how the lamb feeds me in heaven.
I started to talk of devils and particularly, about the one which caused his back pain.
The priest was quick to say no devil can come in him, because of who he was,
but I told him I don't believe the spirit of Jesus would cause an infirmity like that.
Deep inside he knew I was right.

When we arrived in front of the hotel,
I suggested to him I lay my hand on his back, and the priest said, please.
Less than half a minute went by, he couldn't contain his tears,
and had to gather his composure before approaching reception to get his room.

I never saw him again
