Garee,

A) How in the world do you know what "it" meant in "it is finished"? There is a whole host of options. Why would you purposely ignore the Romans 4:25 verse? If you're God's friend you're not going to pit His words against some of His other words. Bizarre.

B) If you want someone to understand what you actually mean, you'll have to stop the long run-on sentences. I seriously, and I'm not lying, gave the courtesy of analyzing your sentence for five full minutes, just to figure out what it was saying, before I responded to it. And now you're telling me that I got it wrong what you were saying. I guess I should have asked for clarification first, but if you would try and not cram everything into these long sentences, and take just a couple extra minutes to make sure you're bing clear, it would be a big help.

Regarding your actual response, my mind is always boggled when you talk about the work being completed, and yet we need to carry out our cross in the same sentence.
"Works" is a good word, and it is required for salvation. Yes, we are saved by grace, and simultaneously we only apply His grace to our life when we carry our cross and follow Him.
