I always plant my poinsettia (that I've had for 2 years) outside in the full summer sun. It does wonderfully but doesn't get red leaves outside. I brought it in before the first frost and put it in a cool room next to a window with lots of light. It began to get red leaves but not many. The poor thing looks rather anemic. Yes, some of the leaves are red but it's not full bloom like you find in the stores. It reminds me of Charlie Brown's sad little Christmas tree. It's still alive, tho and I will again plant it in full sun come summer time.

Ice, your pointsettia is beautiful! I wish mine looked like that when I re-plant it outside.
