Log Cabin Corn Bread
1 Cup Softened Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 14.5oz can creamed corn
1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
4 t baking powder
½ cup grated Monterey jack cheese
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and corn
Combine flour, cornmeal and baking powder. Add dry mixture to butter mix. Lightly stir.
Fold in Cheese
Pour into a greased & floured 9X13 pan
Place pan in oven …LOWER temperature to 300. Bake 1 Hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm!
