You are a very bitter anti-Catholic/x-Catholic. Accept the fact that you left and try to live a happy life. Your ranting's will not convince any Catholic on this site to become the same as you..........bitter and hateful.
Come to Christ not as a buyer or as a merchant, but as a beggar.

For those who believe the Last Supper is the REAL Body and Blood of Christ, for them it is.
That goes for all the other Doctrines as well.
So why bother arguing about it?

"Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit." Ps. 51:7-12

"And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed." Luke 2:34-35
"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:" Eph. 6:17
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Heb. 4:12
"Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also".
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Matt. 10
THIS is the "sword" of which Simeon was speaking--sacrificing everything, even family members if need be, for CHRIST.

"And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." Luke 11:27-28
"And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here." v. 29-32
"No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light." v. 33
"The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light." v. 34-36

Great information in regard to the …Last Supper in respect to.. “it is only a Memorial
and nothing else”. It’s the same as any other ceremonial law.It is required but does not as a shadow have any substance to forgive our sin .What you offered helps
us to continue to walk by faith. Turning it into an idol is not a Christian teaching,
as a Biblical thought.
I would agree gendering strife according to unlearned questions like Kitty
offers is not for Christians. Rather than what scripture calls striking evil
hands in debate, I believe our goal should be to try to show out of a good conversation according to our works of
rightly dividing His word we do it with meekness of wisdom, therefore humbling
ourselves under the hearing of His faith.
We cannot expect to be heard on
high according the kind of fast (striking fist in evil debate) that comes from creating
It is why the disciples could not
cast out the demons seeing at the most that could produce is false pride,
needed to puff oneself up. Keep up the faith.
Mar 9:29 And
he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

"But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts 4:19-20
"Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood." Acts 15:19-20

ryld wrote:For part I, please see post #36 above. New laws become tradition?
Even the hand-picked Apostles of Christ did not devise their own doctrines and traditions:
"But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in
the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For
we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts
The "tradition" to which Paul referred in his letter were these from the Jerusalem Council:
"Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among
the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they
abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things
strangled, and from blood." Acts 15:19-20
These are not new laws, but old laws from the Law of Moses, which fall under the FIRST Commandment.
Then Peter took him,
and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be
unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou
art an offence unto me: for thou
savourest not the” things that be of God”, but “those that be of men”. Mat 16:23
I guess you could say; oh well..... so much for the infallible key theory.
Pau before his conversion to the Nazarene
sect also learned not to measure up to the fathers, according to the law of the
fathers as the kind of tradition used to persecute the true Christians to death,
the same kind of law of the father that was used during the fifteenth century
I am verily a man
which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city
at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law
of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.And I
persecuted “this way” unto the “death”,
binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. Act
Whenever Christ was threated to be
killed he would say to them in effect….
Matthew 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of
your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers,
how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
The term serpents seems to represent “false apostles”
that bring “false doctrines” of men and relates those kind of doctrines to poison
throughout the scriptures.
